In Israel, you can find amazing wineries that offer great wine and a nice atmosphere.
Some wineries offer tours in the winery and the vineyard.
For all of you who would like to go to the winery but don’t know to which one I made a list of the 10 best wineries in Israel.
Sadot winery
This winery is located inside a village called Sde Ya’aqov and has a fascinating view to mount Carmel and Jezreel Valley.
In this winery, you’ll find great wine, delicious food and also enjoy magnificent views.
The winery is defined as Estate Winery because the winery grows its grapes in its vineyards.
Moreover, at Sadot winery you’re not only drinking great wine but you can also join a 20 minutes tour with a tour guide inside the winery and the vineyard.
The tour guide tells about the history of the winery, how it was founded and how they produce and sell the wine, the tour also includes wine tasting so you can enjoy drinking great wine while touring around.
When I was there I sat on the central balcony of ף winery, the view was outstanding.
We ordered a bottle of dry rosé wine, burrata with tomatoes, kalamata olives, and balsamic sauce, and labneh cheese as well.
We enjoyed the wine as well as the food, the atmosphere was so peaceful and the tour was delightful.
My wine recommendation is the dry rosé wine vintage 2015.

Lotem winery
This winery is located in kibbutz Lotem on top of a lookout point that overlooks the landscape of the sea of Galilee.
At Lotem winery you can enjoy drinking high-quality wine in front of an outstanding view while listening to beautiful background music.
We ordered a bottle of dry white wine – chardonnay and a bottle of dry rosé wine, we also ordered a cheese platter and focaccia.
Everything we ordered was amazing.
“Shirat Roim” dairy is located right next to the winery and they sell all kinds of wonderful cheese.
My wine recommendation is the dry rosé wine-
“Lua Cheia”.

Amphorae Winery
This winery is located in the “Mekora” farm in Kerem Maharal.
The tables are scattered all over the vineyards in front of beautiful green lawns.
This winery offers different kinds of high-quality wine, cheese, and fruit platter.
Moreover, the superior value of the owners of the place is sustainability, they do whatever they can to maintain a balanced environment.
Their customer service is amazing and the waiters inform you about every wine or cheese they serve you.
We ordered a bottle of white wine-Rhyton Blanc, a bottle of rosé wine- Blanc De Noir, a cheeseplatter, a fruit platter, bread, and dips.
The wine was delightful and the cheese was so delicious, we enjoyed every moment that we spent there and I would love to visit there again in the future.
My wine recommendation is white wine-Rhyton Blanc.

The Golan Highest winery
This winery is located in the city of Qatarin in the Golan Highest, it was founded in 1983 and was the first winery in the Golan area.
This winery spreads over a wide area and the tables are scattered all over it.
The place offers high-quality wine, great food and unlike other wineries, they offer several tours in the winery and the vineyards such as wine and love tour, culinary tour, vineyards tour, and ergonomic tour.
We went on a four hours vineyards tour that included detailed explanations about the place and the different kinds of grapes that they grow, a ride on an SUV inside the vineyards, wine tasting, and that was served with some refreshments in a private room inside the winery. I recommend you all on taking this wonderful trip, we had such an amazing experience.
My wine recommendation is the red wine- Merlot.

Tishbi winery
This winery is located in Binyamina and overlooks the winery’s vineyard, the view creates a rural magical atmosphere.
In the winery’s locality, you can find a restaurant, bakery, BBQ area, and a gift shop.
The winery’s restaurant offers a varied menu, the ingredients that they use are local and seasonal.
In the bakery, you can find fresh handmade pastries and bread.
In the BBQ area that opens on Friday only, they specialize in making meat and chicken in a meat smoker.
The meat and the chicken that served on bread cooked for 14 hours inside a meat smoker and the dish served with a beer.
In the winery shop, you can find a variety of products such as wine, homemade olive oil, and jam, chocolates, and spices from the winery brand “BBQ Garage”.
The most unique things in the winery are the refill station, you can refill your wine and olive oil and the payment is calculated per Liter.
We arrived at the winery visitors area and we ordered a bottle of wine and some chocolate.
Everything was great and the combination between wine and chocolate was delightful.
My wine recommendation is the white wine- Muscat Viognier.

Kerem Barak winery
A boutique winery located in Moshav Bekoa, overlooking the winery vineyards.
You can enjoy the wonderful wine the winery offers and also the unique atmosphere that this place has.
The winery owners established a dairy inside the winery area so instead of only drinking great wine you can also enjoy boutique cheese that is made out of goat’s milk and cow milk.
The place also offers different workshops with additional payment such as baking and cheese workshops.
One of the things that make this winery so special is that every Friday the place serves a brunch buffet that includes a variety of delicious dishes,
We arrived on Friday to experience the special brunch, I can assure you everything was amazing, the excellent meal alongside a glass of high-quality wine.
My wine recommendation is orange wine.

Bravdo winery
This winery is located in Moshav Karmey Yosef and is considered an estate winery.
The winery produces a single vineyard wine, different wine that is produced from the same vineyard.
The winery overlooks a beautiful view that creates a peaceful atmosphere.
I’ve got to mention that the customer service there is great.
We ordered a bottle of red wine- Bravdo Cabernet Sauvignon, a bottle of rosé wine- Bravdo, picnic basket that had inside the bread, vegetables, dips, cheese from a boutique dairy, and grape leaves.
The wine and the food were delicious.
My wine recommendation is the red wine Bravdo Cabernet Sauvignon.

Flam Winery
Flam Winery is a boutique winery located in the Judaean Mountains right in the center of a fascinating view.
The winery has a beautiful open patio and big balcony, from there you can look at the landscape of the winery that is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and olive trees, the view creates such a peaceful atmosphere.
You can enjoy drinking great wine, take a tour of the winery and also take part in a workshop.
We made a reservation for a wine tasting tour.
On the tour, we tasted 3 different kinds of wine and a platter of cheese was served with the wine.
The wine tasting took place on the balcony of the winery in front of a beautiful mountain view and the tour included not only wine tasting but also explanations about the place and the wine.
My wine recommendation is white wine- Camellia Blanc.

Domaine du Castel winery
The winery is located in the Judean mountains and is surrounded by its vineyards, you can look at the landscape of the winery and the beautiful view of the Jerusalem mountain from the winery balcony.
The winery offers high-quality wine and a wine tour in the winery cellar, also it is important to mention that the service is excellent and accompanied by tutorials on the place and the types of wines in the winery.
We sat on the winery balcony and ordered a bottle of red wine- La Vie Rouge du Castel, a bottle of Rosé du Castel, and accompanied by a cheese platter.
We toured in the winery cellar with a short and interesting tutorial on the winemaking process.
The experience in the winery was amazing.
My wine recommendation is the Rosé du Castel.

Jerusalem wineries
The winery is located in Jerusalem, in the Montefiore wind station complex, which is considered as one of the most important and impressive places to visit in Jerusalem and is the only winery in the capital of Israel.
The winery was established out of a desire to promote the wine culture that is developing in Israel while telling the story of the place.
The winery has a beautiful balcony overlooking a spectacular view of the old city walls
At the winery, you can enjoy a variety of delicious wines, tours in a unique Jerusalem atmosphere, and many activities.
We ordered a bottle of white wine- Gewurztraminer and a bottle of red wine- Petite Sirah.
My wine recommendation is the Gewurztraminer.
