5 best photography tips for beginners

Nowadays everybody takes pictures all the time so they can upload a nice photo to social media, send it to their family and friends, or just keep it for themselves.

There are some things you can do that will easily upgrade your pictures and will help you create more sophisticated pictures, all you need is the right light and angle.

For all of you who are interested, I made a list of the five best photography tips.

Get to know your camera

First thing first, get to know your camera.

It may sound irrelevant but if you want to take professional pictures you have to know all the features that the camera has and to try all of them by yourself.

My recommendation is to dedicate time to study the options that the camera has, that way you’ll know how to match the photo setting to every situation.

Divide the pictures into thirds

In your head try to divide the picture into three height lines and three width lines.

Afterward, try to place the object that you would like to shoot in the touching point of the height lines and the width lines.

Once you plan the picture composition you’ll get the perfect pictures.

Try to keep the skyline as horizontal as you can, the combination of dividing the picture into thirds and horizontal skyline creates professional pictures.

Shooting angle

When shooting photos try to capture the right angle. Dedicate time to think about your shooting angle, try to play with the angle of the camera from high to low and with the zoom to find out the best angle for the photos that you would like to take.

The camera angle has a strong impact on the photos that you take, the more time you dedicate to find the best angle the better photos you’ll get.

Lighting

Light, in many people’s opinion, is the most important thing when taking pictures.

Using light wisely can create professional photos.

To learn how lighting influences the way pictures to come out you have to try taking pictures in different lighting- during the daytime, nighttime, sunrise and sunset, indoor studio, and outdoors.

Usually, the best times on the day to take pictures are during sunrise and sunset, on these moments, there is perfect natural light and there are almost no shadows so the pictures come out impressive and professional.

Get out of the box

The most interesting pictures are the pictures that have the most unique setup and composition or have an extraordinary angle and crazy objects.

Try to think about how to add to your photos your personal touch, something that will distinguish your photos from others’ photos.
